Shanklin staff has created a literature-rich environment for our young students! Teaching kids how to read, and how to become better readers, is one of the many highlights of working with students.
Ms. Rios's class was perfecting the art of punctuation with kinesthetic movement. Engaging the body helps enrich the mind!

Ms. Horne uses reading in her class to encourage and motivate her students to be creative. "Just make a mark and see where it takes you"....The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds

September Spotlight Staff!
Our paraprofessional team at Shanklin Elementary are top notch. They engage with us during our Back to School Learning sessions and in between they were busy helping to get our school bulletin boards ready, working in teachers’ classrooms, creating their own bulletin boards, cutting out materials, and organizing supplies! You name it, and our paraprofessionals do it!
Thank you para team for all you do to make Shanklin a success!
