
Thanksgiving Break!


Our schools and offices will be closed next week. We hope everyone enjoys a safe and restful holiday with loved ones! Classes will resume on Monday, Dec 2nd.


Our elementary students got a special performance of the high school play "Miss Nelson is Missing" today, and they LOVED it! Don’t miss your chance to see it too!
Opening night TONIGHT @7pm. They will also perform on the 22nd @ 7pm and the 23rd at 2pm and 7pm.








It's the season to be grateful! This week, Shanklin staff members are praising one another and leaving each other notes of gratitude. Teachers will receive their "gratitude envelopes" on Friday. We are grateful for the Shanklin staff who provide exemplary instruction and support to our students daily!

At tonight's board meeting, the Spotlight Students and Staff were honored. Fifth grade math teacher Terri Crowell is the Spotlight Staff of the Month. The Spotlight Students are second grader Odalya Garcia, eighth grader Nathan Renteria, and tenth grader Dominik Anderson. Shanklin's annual Veterans Day Program - Monday, Nov 11th - 9am - LHS Gym


Shanklin Elementary Student Council is having their annual Can Food Drive from November 6th until November 19th. Students put in their donations on the stage in the cafeteria. They must put their donation in their "house" lane to earn their "house" some points at the end of the drive. What "house" will win?





It's the season to be thankful! Students in the ACE program created a Thankful Wreath capturing who and what they are thankful for. In the ACE program, students experience academic and enrichment opportunities daily. #prepareempowerinspire
