Missing 10% of school days, that’s only 2 days each month, can put our students at risk of academic struggle. Let’s give a huge shout-out to our amazing Luling ISD Attendance Clerks who work with our parents to keep our students on track! Good attendance is a true partnership.

Today is a valuable day for our amazing teachers! They're diving deep into student data and collaborating about innovative teaching ideas. Professional learning days are crucial for a successful school year! #LulingLearns #LulingZeroQuit #LulingPrepare #LulingEmpower

Shanklin Student Council had their first working lunch meeting with Mrs. Meshell to inform her of their projects for this coming year. Mrs. Keilman gave a short presentation on "No Place for Hate" campaign and the officers assisted her in selecting activities for this program.

Shanklin students are working hard to improve their attendance in their class, by grade level and as a campus! Announcements are made to inform students which class has the best attendance each day and there is a daily grade level recognized for the best daily attendance rate. At the end of the month, the grade level with the best attendance is going to get to house our very own attendance eagle, LENNY!
Lenny the Eagle will spend a few days in each class and have the students write about his visit to their class in his travel log. We are excited to hear about Lenny's travel experiences and our outstanding attendance at Shanklin Elementary!

LISD honors the essence of liberty during FreedomWeek! This week serves as a reminder of the precious rights and freedoms we enjoy. Let's reflect on the sacrifices made, embrace the values that unite us, and work together to safeguard the principles of democracy.

Morning with the Eagles!
Every year, our amazing student athletes get up early and help with Shanklin's drop off in the morning. Our youngest Eagles are so excited to be greeted by the same students they watch perform on the field and in the gym each week. Way to represent! #LulingInspires
