Shanklin Elementary staff rolled out the welcome mat and lit the campfire to greet a crew of happy campers ready for some “s’more” learning at summer school! Over the next three weeks, students will blaze new trails as they practice and strengthen their math and reading skills, all while enjoying a fun-filled learning adventure.
Campers will explore the wonders of science in a special class where they’ll dive into experiments and follow the scientific process like true trailblazers. In their cozy reading lodge, students will celebrate a festive “Christmas in June”—gathering ‘round to hear holiday stories, tackling engaging academic activities, and wrapping up each session by whipping up a tasty treat to enjoy together.

HUGE thank you to the Hillview Foundation and the Luling Education Foundation who presented checks that will fund the purchase of an industrial robotic training arm.
This incredible piece of equipment will be in use next school year and will provide hands-on learning experiences connected to high-demand career pathways and real-world industry skills.

Based on the current forecast, graduation will be held at Eagle Memorial Stadium tomorrow night. If the rain chances increase significantly, we will communicate any changes. 🎓
The end of the school year is officially here! Students will be released early on the last day because, honestly, we can only stand between them and summer for so long.

Our incredible paras are officially enrolling at Indiana Wesleyan University and taking a major step toward becoming certified teachers. This is a milestone moment, and we couldn’t be more excited for them.
IWU advisors were on hand to meet with our team and walk them through their college pathway, helping them get started with confidence.
