Counselor Appreciation Week!! Today, we celebrated our incredible school counselors with a sweet treat to show our appreciation! Their dedication and support make a difference in our students’ lives every day. Thank you for all that you do!

Congrats to our golf team!
Braycen Staton finished 1st of 7th grade boys.
Bailey Palacios finished 1st of all girls.
Our next JH tournament is February 19th. Come out and support!

Look who is taking the role as Principal for the Day! What an amazing chance to experience what it’s like to lead!
Remember to earn House Points throughout the day and don’t miss out on the fun experiences available in the House App!

For the past few months, Luling ISD has been working on partnering with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) to enhance security across all campuses! Troopers will office out of the high school and have an increased presence districtwide, so you’ll see DPS vehicles at our schools.
This partnership started with Constable Easterling’s idea to continue to strengthen school safety, and we’re grateful for his support.
Student safety is our top priority, and we’re excited about this added layer of protection!

In Ms. Leal's 8th Grade Science class, students investigate how mass is conserved in chemical reactions using a closed system. Then, they related the conservation of mass to the rearrangement of atoms in the chemical reaction by representing the chemical equation using modeling clay. #LulingPrepare #LulingEmpower #LulingInspire

We are so grateful for our incredible school counselors who go above and beyond to support our students and staff. Your compassion and guidance make a lasting difference in our schools. Thank you for all you do to inspire success and empower our students to achieve their dreams!

Tough game for our Eagles tonight as our girls basketball teams fell to Poth. They gave it their all, and we’re proud of their effort.

Luling ISD celebrates BlackHistoryMonth! This month, we honor the trailblazers, change-makers, and visionaries who have shaped history and continue to inspire the future.

Skipping breakfast? Bold move. So is trying to function on an empty stomach. Grab some breakfast and lunch in the cafeteria—your brain (and stomach) will thank you!

Our Eagles are playing great as a team and having competitive energy on the court!

Gerdes Jr. High Band students competed this past Saturday at All-Region Band auditions. Over a dozen school districts from the greater Central Texas area sent their best students to compete in head-to-head auditions, where the highest ranking earns a spot to represent Region 12 in Texas. The Region 12 band is made of the best of the best musicians, led by special guest conductors, and performs music that is very advanced for their grade level. Region 12 All-Region Band students are Peyton Skelf (8th Grade Trumpet), Justin Cruz (8th Grade Saxophone), Kori Hoelscher (8th Grade French Horn), Vida Mayberry (8th Grade Flute), and Jaxson Bohac (8th Grade Trombone). #LulingPrepare #LulingInspire

Water - Water - Everywhere!

Give me an E-A-G-L-E-S.....EAGLES! Come join the fun!

The February Calendar for the JB Nickells Memorial Library is out - and it is full of amazing activities every day! That’s right—fun, FREE, and no pop quizzes. Go for the legos, stay for the movie nights, maybe even glance at a book. The library has never been more fun!

Swing by the cafeteria for breakfast and lunch—it’s the only place where 'extra' is a good thing (like seconds).

Congratulations to the Spotlight Staff and Students for December and January who were honored at tonight's Board meeting! They exemplify what it means to be an Eagle! #ZeroQuit #LulingPrepare #LulingEmpower #LulingInspire

We need more help!!
🚸 Join the Eagle Crossing Guard Volunteer Program! 🚸
The need for new crosswalks and safety measures for Luling ISD students is currently being discussed by city officials and school administrators. While this important project is being brought to the table and plans are considered, we recognize that it will take time.
In the meantime, we’re seeking your help to ensure the safety of our students! We have launched the Eagle Crossing Guard Volunteer Program and are looking for parents, retirees, seniors, and community members to volunteer 30 minutes in the morning and/or 30 minutes in the afternoon to help students cross major highways safely before and after school.
This temporary effort will make a huge impact until more permanent solutions are in place. 💪🦅

Luling ISD will operate on a 2-hour delayed schedule tomorrow, Wednesday, January 22nd.

Today, we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his unwavering commitment to equality and peace. May we continue to be inspired by his dream and honor his legacy by spreading kindness.

Due to inclement weather in the forecast, Luling ISD will be closed on Tuesday, January 21st.
